Hello, this is Fusbon owner.
It's getting very cold all over the country. I'm sure some of you have caught a cold. Although it varies from person to person, even if you take perfect precautions such as wearing a mask, washing your hands, gargling, wearing clothes that keep your body warm, and eating well, if you are busy and don't get enough sleep, you may still catch a cold.
So today I'd like to introduce you to a low-carb diet when you have a cold .
About "Carbohydrate-restricted diet when you have a cold"
Personally, I think it's okay to eat carbohydrates such as fruits and noodles when you have a cold, but if you normally try to cut down on carbohydrates and absolutely want to avoid "udon, porridge, lots of fruit, etc." even when you have a cold, I'll tell you what to do.The basic carbohydrate-restricted diet for when you have a cold is easy-to-digest hotpot
We recommend light and easy-to-digest hotpots in general, hot tofu, egg soup, vegetable soup, ginger soup, chawanmushi , miso soup, and pork soup.
It's good to put a lot of tofu in the hot pot because it's gentle on the throat. Also, if you don't have the energy to make it yourself, we recommend choosing low-carb oden ingredients such as daikon radish and ganmodoki, which can be easily purchased at convenience stores.
Stay hydrated and take in vitamins
Also, when you have a cold and have lost your appetite, you are more likely to become dehydrated, so be careful. Make sure to stay hydrated, and take vitamin C, B vitamins, and vitamin E regularly .
The best thing is to avoid catching a cold, but even if you do catch a cold, this is a recommended method for those who want to cut down on carbohydrates.
See you next time!
